Founded back in 1969 as Samsung Electric Industries, Suwon, South Korea-headquartered Samsung Electronics today makes everything from televisions to semiconductors.

It released its first Android smartphone in 2009, and can be credited with the launch of the first Android tablet back in 2010. The company is among the biggest players in the smartphone market in the world.

It has recently developed smartphones running Tizen OS, as an alternative to its Android-based smartphones. Samsung’s latest mobile launch is the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The smartphone was launched in 5th August 2020.

The Exynos 990 processor is very good, but not as powerful as the Snapdragon 865+ that powers international versions of this phone. You get plenty of RAM and storage.

There’s a 108-megapixel primary camera as well as dedicated wide-angle and optical zoom cameras. Photo quality is excellent at all times of day, and Night Mode delivers some spectacular results.

Battery life is also quite good. This is a luxury phone for those who want the best of everything.

Samsung has opted for the Exynos 9611 SoC to power the Galaxy M31s. This is a dated processor at this point and you do see some sluggishness while loading heavy apps and games.

Battery life on the Galaxy M31s is impressive as the phone lasted us over 2 days with our usage. The Galaxy M31s has a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera.

We found the camera performance to be good in daylight. It also has a Single Take feature which offers different outputs after recording a video. Lowlight camera performance was average but the found video stabilisation to be poor.
